Jack and Milton were on their own all the noises and the screams, and explosions but the boys tried to bolster each other´s courage as the ship continued to sink. They decided that their best way to survive was to jump off the ship when the Titanic was low enough without hurting them selves. The water had was already around the ship filling the chairs and objects that had been causing things to slide off the ship. If Jack were to hit something on his way down he would be knocked unconscious. When it was 2:15 the titanic began to launch forward. Jack and Milton shook each others hands and wished each other both luck. Milton had went first climbing over the railing and sliding down the side of the Titanic. Jack was sad he would never see Milton again. Jack threw off his coat and Jumped into the water as far out from the ship as possible. Jack struggled to get to surface, gasping from the cold. his lungs near bursting. He had been floating for only a few minutes........
