On August 28, 1963 it was a big day for African Americans because Martin Luther King Jr. was going to give a Protest for Civil Right Laws. There was more than 250,000 people gathered up in Washington D.C. around the Lincoln Status. People were walking there from over 230 miles away others were going by car, plane, and train. This was really weird at the rally because their were only about 10 people that were lite skin color. In the south black people and white people were separated. At this time there was a war about segregation. That was chapter 3.
