We want to hear about it...
catch the gold
This book is about Mr. Putter catching a cold. It all started when Mr. Putter went outside to go get the newspaper. The problem was that he forgot to put on his hat. When he came back he told Tabby that he hoped he wouldn't catch a cold. Tabby laid on top of his head to keep it warm. When Mr. Putter was little he enjoyed being sick because his mother would spoil him with chicken soup, tea, and a adventure book. Mr. Putters neighbor Mrs. Teaberry had called Mr. Putter. She heard how sick he was and insisted she should come over and help him get rid of his cold. Mr. Putter said that she should stay home or else she would also catch a cold from him. Mrs. Teaberry agreed. So, she said that she would send Zeke over. Then Mr. Putter heard a scratching at the door. When he opened it, it was Zeke Mrs. Teaberrys dog. When Zeke walked in he had a thermos stuck on his back. Mr. Putter strapped it off and inside was chicken soup. Once he at all the chicken soup he heard another scratching at the door. When he opened it Zeke was at the door. He had another thermos strapped. Mr. Putter opened it and inside was hot tea. Once he finished he called Mrs. Teaberry and told her how thankful and delicious everything was. But he requested one thing. She asked what it was. He asked her if she had an adventure book. Zeke went over and brought an adventure book. Mr. Putter, Tabby, and Zeke all layed down and read all day. The End!
