In this book, Christmas is coming and Mr. Putter had a hard time finding a great present for Mrs. Teaberry. He noticed that Mrs. Teaberry liked strange things.  The one thing that Mr. Putter knew Mrs. Teaberry loved was fruit cake. Mr. Putter didn't believe that anyone liked fruit cake, even Mrs. Teaberry. Mr. Putter did not want to get Mrs. Teaberry a fruit cake so he decided that he would make her a Christmas cake. The only problem Mr. Putter had when he was going to bake the cake was, he didn't know how to bake a cake and he doesn't have any ingredients. Mr. Putter ended up going to The Sweet Shop to get all of the stuff he needed. After getting everything he needed, including a cook book, Mr. Putter baked many cakes until he had the perfect Christmas cake. On Christmas day, Mr. Putter went to Mrs. Teaberry's house to give her the cake. Mrs. Teaberry loved her gift. As soon as Mr. Putter sat in Mrs. Teaberry's chair, he fell asleep because he was so exhausted from making the cake. After a 12 hour nap, Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry ate the Christmas cake. I hope you enjoy this blog!
