Rickey Henderson started his career with the Oakland A´s in 1979. He could run and he could run fast. There have always been fast players from 1900 to the 2000. Rickey was fast and strong. He was an leadoff hitter. He was like Bobby Bonds he hit for power he. Unlike Bonds he didn't strikeout as much. Rickey had more than 500 steals and he was caught stealing 20 percent of the time. Rickey had an great eye on the strike zone. He hit about 300 home runs. Like Mayes and Aaron he was a five tool player. When he played with the 1989 A´s he played 85 game and he had 90 hits. Henderson bounced from team to team, Mets,Mariners, Padres, Angels, Red Sox and the Dodgers. The Dodgers released henderson and he never retired from baseball. He waited for an call from another team and they never called. But there was an place for him: The Hall of Fame.
